Pros & Cons

Expert Score
Good things
Big and beautiful screen, HDR10, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack sums up for excellent multimedia performance. There’s a feature-rich and well-designed software, a class-leading dual-camera at the rear and a selfie camera with autofocus and QHD video recording. Some interesting additional features include fast wired and wireless charging, iris scanner, Samsung DEX, and Samsung Pay.
Bad things
Battery life shorter than expected. Processor throttles after a while under heavy load. Bixby is software and hardware bloatware which no one wants to use.

Nov 14, 2018 -- Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus Can Add External Storage With One UI Upgrade
The upcoming One UI software upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy S9 will add the ability to add external storage in the device, a new leak has shown. The feature is called Adoptable Storage, and it was removed from Samsung's flagship handsets. The justification given by Samsung was that these flagship devices already have sufficient internal storage. However, Samsung has decided to re-introduce the feature, which was last seen in Android 6 Marshmallow based Samsung devices. Does it have the same screen as Apple iPhone X?
Answer by jeevanmarathe1994, 10 months ago
Apple was using the retina display. It was good, but because of the poor resolution of the retina display, they shifted to Samsung display panels (QLED/AMOLED) on iPhone X. I think they will retain it even in the future. They did little R&D on that panel, but it's Samsung panel which is manufactured by Samsung and just customised a little by Apple. And that's why there is no reason that S9 panel will have less quality. Instead, Samsung S9 has a better display than iPhone X, and also Samsung tend to add extra saturation which is pleasing to the eye, but it depends on the perspective of the user. Apple has done one good thing compared to Samsung that, they did better true toning as per the amb

No, it has a better screen than iPhone X. It is a super QLED screen which is the best screen available on the market. And if you don't know, the iPhone X screen is also manufactured by Samsung. So, there is no chance that Samsung will use a low standard screen on its flagship phone.
Answer by sandeep.dasari, 11 months ago
iPhone X screen is manufactured in Samsung plant, i.e., super AMOLED display. Samsung has nailed it by creating a better version of what they do the best.
Answer by varmasuresh62955, 11 months ago
No, iPhone X has super retina display which is better than any OLED/QHD display.

Can I switch from iPhone 8 to Samsung S9 Plus, what are the new features of this phone?
Answer by rao.prathamesh84, 8 months ago
Yes, you can surely switch. You will get a better display in S9 Plus. You will also get dual and best camera. Further, you can experience Android, dual SIM, iris and face unlock, and better battery life. It's more premium than iPhone 8, and in all aspects, S9 Plus is better than iPhone 8. It competes with iPhone X.
How is the screen durability of this phone?
Answer by avikotagiri, 10 months ago
The chances of it to break are very high. It is the most fragile phone, I have ever used. In less than a day, the front screen of my Samsung 9 Plus broke. This phone is rubbish and after sales service is pathetic.
Answer by ramachandran.rgck, 7 months ago
Very poor, it can break easily. Even if it falls from one foot on the bamboo floor, then the screen of S8 Plus would break.

As it is premium and flagship model, you can easily play all the top-notch games without any lag. It also has 6GB of RAM which is sufficient for playing the best games on the Android device.
How is the RAM performance of this phone?
Answer by subarnamohanty, 13 months ago
It's good but not as good as Apple. RAM management is better on Apple phones though Samsung/Android is reducing/optimising the background processes to make RAM usage more efficient.
Answer by bhupeshk.goutam, 11 months ago
It is excellent. Samsung uses the most advanced series of RAM due to that the device performs at optimum levels.
Answer by bm13011997, 10 months ago
RAM management is very well.
