A Turkish website reported that Samsung will begin the official stable rollout of Android 9 Pie for the Galaxy Note 9 on January 15. The Pie firmware will reach Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ from February 15, the same report noted. Lately, Samsung has been testing its new One UI based on Android 9 Pie for the Galaxy Note 9.

Dec 25, 2018 - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Gets Revised Android Pie Update Roadmap
Samsung galaxy Note 9 will receive the Android 9 Pie-based One UI stable update in February 2019. The updated timeline has been featured on the Members app where Samsung has released an updated Android 9 Pie rollout roadmap. The device was going to receive the update in January, according to earlier announcement. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S9 and the S9+ will receive the update in January. Though in some markets the update has already started rolling out to these two devices. Beta testing for the One UI custom OS skin has started in markets like India as well. Other devices getting the update include the Galaxy S8 series that will receive the update in March next year. The roadmap also includes budget phones like the J3 (2017). Samsung can still remove devices from the list as well as change the timeline of the rollout. Though the flagship devices will most certainly receive the update.

Dec 8, 2018 -- New White Color Option For Galaxy Note 9
Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy Note 9 in a new white color model, after teasing about it earlier this week. The handset looks similar to the First Snow White model released in Taiwan, but in India, the brand has chosen a different name: Alpine White. It is available online already, and can be ordered at offline stores from December 10. The white color option is restricted to the handset's 128GB storage model for now, with no change in pricing.

Yes, surely, it has a better battery life, super slow motion feature and better storage option, maybe 512 GB of ROM. An S-Pen, better screen body ratio and improved camera. A lot can change in a day.

Yes, both the slot support 4G, and can be used simultaneously. We can choose any SIM for mobile data with 2nd SIM live (VoLTE).
